Kaweco Piston Sport AL Fountain Pen in Bordeaux/Gold Starter Set with 35ml Bottled Ink

Since 1883, fountain pens have utilized various filling systems, with the piston mechanism remaining one of the most reliable methods for drawing bottled ink directly into an integrated reservoir. First introduced as a piston filler in 1937 under the model name #612, the iconic Kaweco Sport has evolved over decades while honoring this traditional mechanism. By drawing ink straight into the internal chamber, it makes disposable cartridges obsolete, while a sleek transparent window allows you to monitor your remaining ink level effortlessly.

Expanding the Piston Sport AL series, the Bordeaux/Gold Starter Set features a deep bordeaux anodized aluminum body paired with radiant gold-plated accents for a rich, sophisticated aesthetic. Ready for immediate use right out of the box, this complete set includes a 35ml bottle of rich blue ink, beautifully presented alongside the pen in a classic Kaweco round tin box. The fountain pen comes equipped with a gold-plated stainless steel nib (size no. 5) available in five sizes ranging from extra fine [EF] to extra broad [BB], utilizing Kaweco's interchangeable 190 nib unit for effortless swapping.
